Deborah M. Johansen, MS, LPC, NCC
Foundation for Healing, LLC
AZ Licensed Clinical Supervisor
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Supervisor in AZ, I have gained over 35 years of “intrinsic value” helping adults, couples, and groups, manage stress, trauma, grief, mood, thoughts, various addiction cycles, suicidality, self-harm, reentry, and life transitions.
I provide an individualized “trauma-informed” approach by meeting you where you’re at, validating your experience, empowering you to break through the barriers that may be holding you back, and walking alongside as you gain valuable tools for success. I will show you “truth” (even when it’s hard to see) and challenge your “perspective” to facilitate a strong foundation for healing.
I also serve as a Person-Centered Clinical Supervisor for persons seeking to become independently licensed therapists in the state of Arizona through individual and group supervision models. Having done my own personal work, which I believe is imperative for all behavioral health professionals, I strive for balance and wholeness for my supervisees.
Rather than listing off my extensive and varied work experience, I invite you to contact me through text or voice at: (480) 608-5250, email: deborahj@foundationforhealing.com, or view my website by foundationforhealing.com.
I provide telehealth (video/audio) services throughout Arizona M-TH, & Sa. From 8am-9:30pm, In-Office sessions on Fridays 8am-9:30pm each week, and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning sessions on a Case-by-Case basis.
(I am In-Network with most AZ Optum/United Healthcare (Regular, EAP, and AHCCCS) Health Plans, can provide a Superbill for Out-of-Network services, and I accept FSA, HSA, Credit/Debit cards, and cash as payment. I will be an approval Out-of-Network Provider with Tricare/TriWest soon. I offer a 15 minute free consultation call/video for all perspective clients so that we can both determine if it is a good match.)

Tyler Kees
Kees Counseling Services, PLLC
My name is Tyler Kees and I am excited to begin this journey with you. I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 2015. From that point, I began my graduate journey at Capella University, focusing on clinical psychology. I graduated with my Master's in Clinical Psychology in 2019. I received my license in counseling in July of 2020.
I began working in the behavioral health field in 2015. I started as a Behavioral Health Specialist working with the under served population in Apache Junction. Since then, I have worked at most levels of the behavioral health industry, from technician to clinical program manager in the Substance Use field.
I have been trained in many different areas of therapy and counseling. I do not believe in the "one size fits all" model. I believe each person has their own response to each theoretical orientation of therapy. I have been trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic, client-centered, and many others. I will utilize what I believe will be the best for you.
I have an incredibly unique ability to develop a therapeutic relationship very quickly. I believe this is the most important part of it all. If there is not a positive relationship, the therapeutic experience will lack significantly. I try to find the core of the issue with you. I do not do well with worksheets or YouTube mindfulness videos; you can do all of those things from home. I believe that if you feel you need help from a licensed professional, there should be more than the entities mentioned.
I have significant experience with all behavioral health challenges and am excited to learn, grow, and help each one of you.
