Yoga Therapy

Meesha started her Yoga journey in June of 2016 and completed her Yoga Teacher Training at Spirit of Yoga in 2017. She went on to complete her Advanced Yoga Teacher Training from Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in 2019, with specialties in Integral Breath Therapy, Yoga Body Psychology, Yoga Nidra, Life Coaching and Transformational Yoga Coaching, and is a certified Meditation In Motion Revealer; currently completing her advanced studies in the 800 hour I Am Yoga Therapy Professional Training Program from the Amrit Yoga Institute.

She offers services including private and group Yoga sessions, focusing on Hatha, Restorative and Yin styles of Yoga, as well as Yoga Nidra*  and Yoga Therapy** practices.  And most notably, offering sessions in Postures of Consciousness and Meditation in Motion, where students are given the tools to go from thinking and doing, to feeling and being.  Learning to listen to the innate wisdom of the body, students begin to adapt the ability to go from allowing the energy to following their attention, to allowing their attention to follow the energy, thus becoming a Meditation in Motion.

* Yoga Nidra is a sleep-based meditation

**Yoga Therapy incorporates all of the aforementioned modalities to form a unique style of therapy where we discover connections between the mind and body.  Where emotional distress leads to physical “dis-ease” or disease.  We learn how to move the body to release trapped energy
