Joan Butler, PMHNP-BC, LLC
Joan graduated from the University of Utah in 2013, and has been practicing in Arizona in the community mental health setting and crisis/urgent care. Her belief is that the brain, like any other organ of the body can be in need of medical attention. Joan hopes to decrease the stigma of receiving mental health treatment and help all clients feel comfortable and open in talking about their bothersome symptoms. It is important to her that she works as a team with her clients to find the best medication treatment for each individual. Joan finds that collaborating with other treatment modalities is beneficial for the improvement of symptoms and helps clients achieve their goals of living a meaningful life and becoming the best version of themselves.
