Meesha Santos

Mindfulness Coach

Mindfulness is the psychological process of focusing a client's awareness on the present moment. The process involves acknowledging and accepting feelings, thoughts, bodily sensations, and the surrounding environment without judgement. Mindfulness Coaching is educating the client on techniques and practices that achieve a present state of being. Mindfulness Coaching helps a client focus on the importance of slowing down their thoughts as they listen to the messages within and around themselves. This pause will allow a client to gain a clear understanding of what is necessary for their healing.

Meesha developed a way for her to integrate a lifetime of experiences with her learned modalities, to create a unique style of life coaching that takes people out of their heads and into their bodies for answers. She takes clients on a journey from thinking and doing to feeling and being. By connecting people back to their bodies, with each other and to a collective Source of Oneness, Meesha provides life coaching that arms her clients with a newfound ability to listen and bridge the gap of communication. She works with clients to identify and heal their wounds, scars, and learned behaviors of the past and provides tools to help them step into the presence of who they are now and move forward to the person they desire to be.

Experience - Beyond the basic tools used in traditional coaching, Meesha’s unique

style of life coaching utilizes techniques such as Yoga Coaching, Integral Breath Therapy and a sleep-based meditation referred to as Yoga Nidra. When used in correlation with therapeutic massage, she brings the elements of the mind and body together with Body Psychology. She is able to combine a variety of modalities as she partners with each client on their journey of transformation. Thus, creating the ultimate healing experience.

Roots and Blooms Health

Our Ideal Customer

My ideal customer is anyone struggling with stress, sleep issues, anxiety, depression, chronic fatigue or headaches, PTSD, early cognitive decline, concussions, bipolar spectrum disorders, autistic spectrum struggles, OCD, schizophrenia, etc. They come to me to find ways to diagnose physiologic imbalances and treat them with medications and/or more natural approaches.

I often get referrals from therapists, primary care physicians, specialty physicians, or professionals.

About Us

Stress can build until it alters our sleep, hormones, neurotransmitters, and eventually our mental and physical health.

Sometimes taking prescription medication can help, but often times it is not the whole answer, or other approaches provide profound healing so that medications become unnecessary.

Functional Medicine is an approach that looks for ways to balance our physiologic systems so our body can heal itself, and we can transform into the best version of ourselves.

I provide an individualized approach which depending on each person's needs and interests may include: labs or genetic testing to assess root causes for your symptoms, medication management, supplements, breathing or concentration exercises to switch your nervous system out of a chronic stress state into a calm and clear state, exploring how certain foods or things in your environment are increasing inflammation and decreasing your immune system, and going at a pace and direction that feels manageable to you at this time.

I have also been trained by a well-respected neurologist in an innovative way to treat sleep struggles.

How We Got Started

I found that getting to the root cause and finding ways to assist the body to heal itself, allowed for much more powerful healing and healthier outcomes then just taking medications based on symptoms.
